.NET CF 2.0

Note that it says you need the new ActiveSync 4.0 to update the device but I'm not sure why you would. But Microsoft recommends you only use ActiveSync 4.0 to connect to a Windows Mobile 5 device. So does that mean you can't use .NET cf 2.0 on older devices? I'll have to test it out this weekend.
