Eric Sink

Eric now has a column on MSDN.

My name is Eric Sink, and I am a code-aholic. I love building and selling software products. I like the strategic marketing analysis. I like design and architecture. I like writing code. I like the smell of a freshly killed bug.

But most of all, I like the satisfaction of hearing from real people who use my products to get real work done. That's the moment when I know it was all worthwhile. When I get to the point where I'm just doing this for the money, maybe I'll stop. But right now it's hard to imagine doing anything else.

I want to work for Eric (or somebody like him). I think Prof. Lutes shares a lot of those same views.

technical writing

Seems that I could write some articles/code examples that are just as good if not better than a lot of the stuff out there (especially .NET Compact Framework related).

Just stashing this here for later. Maybe this summer I'll see what I can get published along with working on commericializing SWOOSH.NET

i'm back!

Oh yes, I'm back and better than ever. My exile to the land of dialup is over! Delphi now has DSL and so do I!!! On the coach posting this over the wireless network to Jessica's computer which is connected to the DSL! Oh how I've missed having broadband at home.

Jessica

This site is supposed to be about all the stuff Mikel thinks is interesting. My beautiful, wonderful wife pointed out that she is missing from this site. I am now correcting the error of my ways.

She's a chemistry teacher at Caston High School and also the JV volleyball coach.

good coding days

I had a couple of really good, hyperproductive coding days working on SWOOSH.NET the past couple of days. It felt good. Hadn't had one of those in awhile. It's so much fun to "watch the code dance"
